As a certified personal trainer, I always have people ask me questions about when they should start a exercise program!

Questions to consider?
What equipment would I actually use at gym? Would I use the pool? The pool is great for people with joints problems.
Do you have a safe space to walk, run and bike near your house? Will you be running alone?
Are you tired all the time? Exercise gives more energy with time.
Are you ready to make time in your schedule for exercise? Has Covid allow more time in your schedule?
Do you have arthritis? Do you have an old injury? Can you walk to the mailbox without being out of breath?
Do you want be stronger?
Should I see a doctor?
Do you have an old injury or arthritis?
Can you walk to the mailbox without being out of breath?
During my consultations, I have clients fill out a PAR0Q (Phsical Activity Readiness Questionaire) which is a common method of uncovering health and lifestyle issues prior to exercise program.

TIPS:
Make a plan to start slowly? Ask a friend or family member to to do it with you.
I help people exercise with proper technique to combative injuries.
Do you feel like you are ready for a change? The University College of London study discovered on average it took 66 days to form a habit. That is right, just over 9 weeks to form a habit! I have helped a lot clients make start at 6 weeks. It is possible. Envision your results!
Small changes add to life style change. The first step is contemplating a change! The holidays are coming, AKA, weight gain season. Have a plan to be healthy!
